Upper age limits are applicable as per standard government norms for faculty positions. The limit is up to 50 years for Assistant/Associate Professor and 58 years for Additional/Professor. The age is counted as of the cut-off date for submission (28/05/2026).
There is no written examination for this recruitment. The process includes:
1. Screening of offline/soft copy applications to check eligibility criteria.
2. Shortlisting of candidates.
3. Personal Interview conducted by an expert Standing Selection Committee.
4. Document verification.
* Professor: Level-14A (₹1,68,900 – ₹2,20,400) plus usual allowances.
* Additional Professor: Level-13A2+ (₹1,48,200 – ₹2,11,400) plus usual allowances.
* Associate Professor: Level-13A1+ (₹1,38,300 – ₹2,09,200) plus usual allowances.
* Assistant Professor: Level-12 (₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400) plus usual allowances.
* Professor: MD/MS or equivalent. Experience: 14 years of teaching/research experience.
* Additional Professor: MD/MS or equivalent. Experience: 10 years of teaching/research experience.
* Associate Professor: MD/MS or equivalent. Experience: 6 years of teaching/research experience.
* Assistant Professor: MD/MS or equivalent. Experience: 3 years of teaching/research experience.
