Upper age limits are applicable as per standard government norms for faculty positions (generally up to 50 years for Assistant/Associate Professor and 58 years for Additional/Professor). Age relaxations apply for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) as per Government of India rules.
There is no written examination for this recruitment. The selection process consists of:
1. Screening of applications based on eligibility criteria.
2. Personal Interview conducted by an expert panel.
3. Document verification of original certificates.
4. Medical examination for finally selected candidates.
* Professor: Level-14A (₹1,68,900 – ₹2,20,400) plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
* Additional Professor: Level-13A2+ (₹1,48,200 – ₹2,11,400) plus usual allowances including NPA.
* Associate Professor: Level-13A1+ (₹1,38,300 – ₹2,09,200) plus usual allowances including NPA.
* Assistant Professor: Level-12 (₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400) plus usual allowances including NPA.
(Note: Consultants/Retired faculty on contract will receive a consolidated remuneration ranging from ₹2,00,000 to ₹2,20,000 per month).
* Professor: A postgraduate qualification MD/MS or equivalent recognized by the NMC. Experience: 14 years of teaching/research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree.
* Additional Professor: MD/MS or equivalent. Experience: 10 years of teaching/research experience.
* Associate Professor: MD/MS or equivalent. Experience: 6 years of teaching/research experience.
* Assistant Professor: MD/MS or equivalent. Experience: 3 years of teaching/research experience.
