Qualification and Age Limit: Qualifications for selection of the Director shall be the same as prescribed by the ICSSR/UGC from time to time for selection of Professor in Economics, Sociology or Anthropology. She/he should be a scholar of national eminence in the sphere of social science having at least 10 year(s) of organizational and administrative experience.
The candidate for the post of Director at the time of entry should preferably be below 60 years but the age limit may be relaxed in exceptional cases by the Government of Odisha.
